The purpose of the blogs is not just to document my struggles with home baking, but also to provide some insights into the industry. Every aspect of the blog is a realistic representation of the challenges that I undergo as lazy baker and my attempts at achieving a home baking business.

Before sharing the intricate and embarrassing details of my journey, it is imperative to understand the nuances of home baking. The primary question, everyone of us faces is Can I be a home baker? The short answer to it is Yes you can. However, to become a successful home baker in Coimbatore, the path is not straightforward nor easy. Sometimes, people wonder if the taste or quality is essential to be the best in the industry. Though they are the prerequisites for operating a good business, realistically, it might not be enough. The baker will have to learn and master the art of getting new leads irrespective of the existing customer base. Sounds challenging, it absolutely is. Once you understand the secret of selling your product, then you can have a thriving baking business. A full disclaimer is that I am amateur in the field and I could be wrong. This is my personal journey and could differ for everyone.

I have always wondered if every good baker can become a successful business owner. Baking is the art and science of creating edible cakes and pastries. There is a strong possibility that people could praise the effort and never make a purchase. After all, free products are a allure. To become a successful home baker in Coimbatore, it is imperative to know how to market the product. This can be quite daunting as this is a competitive segment. Most home baker might not have unlimited budget to promote their business. This often put them a tough spot. There is also the possibility that they might be juggling different responsibilities. This can be overwhelming and tough.

However, it is imperative to understand that everyone’s journey is different and unique. When I look for my fellow bakers who seem to have a relatively steady baking career, I find myself wondering about my talent. I feel worried and lost on whether I will be able to be successful. This fear often stops me from pursuing my dreams. If you are one of the people who let the fear consume you, then you are not alone. The fear of failure is more dangerous than failure itself. Join me as I tackle my fear and frustration and may be it will help with an inspiration. This is not a straight forward journey, but it can be quite interesting and fun.
